Aloe: This medicinal plant is used for its protecting, soothing, moisturizing and healing properties. This is one of the oldest plants in trade commerce in the history of mankind, referred to as the “Lily of the Desert.” Aloe contains many vitamins, minerals, enzymes and essential amino acids. It helps to protect skin from dryness and is calming and soothing, so it is often used to treat burns or for sun recovery.
Arnica flower: This herb also known as Wolf’s Bane is a wonderfully healing herb known for its analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties. It is very effective for relieving sore muscles and stiff joints. Products with arnica should not be used on broken skin.
Beeswax: Beeswax is used to soothe and protect the skin, sealing in moisture and sealing out the harsh elements, yet still allowing the skin to breathe.
Bergamot: A citrus fruit typically found in the Mediterranean region, Bergamot is antiseptic, deodorizing, astringent, Bergamot is used for acne, eczema, and to balance an oily complexion. The scent of bergamot is very uplifting.
Burdock: This herb is a powerful anti-inflammatory that is soothing to the skin, traditionally used in treating acne, eczema and psoriasis.
Calendula flower: This bright yellow flower is a soothing emollient with anti- inflammatory, antiviral, antibacterial and antiseptic properties
Coconut: Supports tissue healing and repair, protects the skin from aging, reduces symptoms associated with psoriasis, eczema, and dermatitis, softens skin and helps relieves dryness.
Comfrey leaf: Comfrey leaf soothes and regenerates skin. Comfrey soothes and regenerates skin, accelerating healing of cuts, burns and wounds. Comfrey also reduces pain and swelling of minor sprains when applied topically.
Evening Primrose Oil: Rich source of fatty acids, anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant, reduces signs of aging, excellent for rosacea, eczema, sensitive oil.
Goldenseal: A North American herb used by the Native Americans, Goldenseal is anti-bacterial, astringent and anti-inflammatory.
Green Tea: This leaf is extremely high in anti-oxidants which contribute anti-aging benefits in skin care. Green Tea also contains as many as 200 bioactive compounds, most important of these are polyphenols which contain flavonoids. Green tea also contains Vitamin C and this contributes to the production of collagen and skin regeneration. It is also anti-inflammatory and has natural UV protection.
Honey: Honey is used in skincare for its ability to attract, absorb, hold moisture and help heal wounds.
Hops: Anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, antiseptic.
Jasmine: It takes 2000 lbs of jasmine flowers to produce just one pound of the precious oil. Jasmine is anti-inflammatory, uplifting and also helps with eczema and skin irritations. Jasmine is also used for insomnia and in some studies has been shown to be more effective at inducing a calm state before bedtime than lavender.
Jojoba seed oil: Is really a wax, which prevents oils from blocking pores, great for all skin types, acts as an amazing natural preservative, as well as increasing the skin’s suppleness (flexible, resilience).
Lemongrass: Has a pleasing lemony aroma and is traditionally used as a natural bug repellant. Lemongrass is deodorizing, antiseptic, antiviral, antifungal, astringent and is useful for athletes foot, cellulite, muscle pain and poor circulation. It is stimulating and warming and excellent for muscle recovery.
Mint: Mint essential oil has vaso-relaxant properties, which increase blood circulation throughout the whole body. It also helps with absorption of other herbal constituents. As a natural pain reliever, mint reduces joint and muscle stiffness, weather sensitivity and headaches.
Oats: Oats are anti-inflammatory, soothing to the skin and contain saponins which provide a mild cleansing action on the skin. Oats are moisturizing and hydrating and help to treat acne, eczema, rosacea and rashes. They also relieve symptoms of aging skin.
Rice: Rice has been used in skin care by Asian women for centuries. Rice helps to increase the production of collagen, and contributes to skin regeneration. Rice contains oryzanol, a substance that helps renew skin pigment and counteracts UV damage. RIce also contains Vitamin E and ferulic acid, which both have strong anti-oxidant properties.

Safflower seed oil: Safflower oil is a sustainable, light, scentless carrier oil with a multitude of minerals including significant levels of vitamin E.
Slippery Elm: Slippery Elm has been used as a herbal remedy in North America for centuries. Native Americans used slippery elm in healing salves for wounds, boils, ulcers, burns, and skin inflammation. It contains anti-oxidants and mucilage, so it coats, soothes and relieves inflammation.
Sweet almond oil: This oil is cold pressed and high in vitamin E. This carrier oil is a wonderful natural moisturizer and highly lubricating oil also helps relieve inflammation. Sweet almond oil is rich in essential fatty acids and absorbs easily, helping to soften and hydrate the skin.
Sweet Fennel: This botanical is cultivated in Mediterranean and has been used as a sacred and medicinal herb for thousands of years. This oil is calming and detoxifying. It is an antiseptic, antispasmodic, analgesic, stimulates estrogen production, balancing hormones, reduces fluid retention, supports healthy digestion, reduces indigestion, supports labor and delivery and increases lactation.
Sweet Orange: Sweet Orange is an uplifting oil, cold pressed from orange peel, this oil is anti-inflammatory, antidepressant and antiseptic. It helps relieve stress and tension and is soothing to muscle aches and pains.
Sunflower Oil: This oil is rich in linoleic and oleic essential fatty acids and is also high in Vitamin E. Sunflower oil is soothing and calming to the skin and easily absorbed.
Ylang Ylang ( Canango odorata): Ylang Ylang is a beautiful flower that grows in Madagascar. The essential oil is steam distilled from its flowers, which have a rich intoxicating aroma. Ylang Ylang can soothe away tension in a room, sedate your mind and body, and can be used as an aphrodisiac. It’s also an antidepressant and full of anti-bacterial properties.
